Job summary

Egis is seeking a CEI Inspector to join our Tallahassee, FL team. You will perform field inspection and oversight of construction activities, maintain inspection reports, and coordinate material testing to support projects in transportation and infrastructure.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma with 2 years of inspection experience or are Engineer Interns with a Civil Engineering degree and CTQP FDOT CE&I qualifications or the ability to obtain them within a year.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent with 2 years of construction inspection experience.
• 1 year of bridge and/or roadway construction inspection experience, or Engineer Intern with Civil Engineering degree (certificate required).
• CTQP qualification for FDOT CE&I projects or ability to obtain within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Field inspection and oversight of construction activities.
• Maintain inspection reports and records of project progress.
• Perform and/or coordinate material field testing services; pay item quantity measurements and documentation.
• Receive general supervision from the Senior Inspector.
