Job summary

AECOM is seeking a CEI Construction Services Inspector to join our transportation team in Ft. Myers, Florida. The role focuses on roadway and bridge construction, providing inspection and testing to ensure contract compliance.

The position supports the Senior CEI Inspector and requires effective communication, field recording, and daily inspection duties. Occasional travel and site visits are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with related inspection experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret contract documents.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Inspect construction work and perform field tests to ensure contract compliance.
• Assist Senior CEI Inspector and support inspections and record-keeping.
• Monitor quality, performance, and specifications on roadway and bridge projects.
• Maintain daily inspection records and participate in punch lists and testing.
• Communicate progress and issues clearly with team and supervisors.
