Job summary

AECOM is seeking a CEI Construction Services Inspector to join our Transportation team in the Port North Port, Florida area. You will inspect roadway and bridge construction and provide field testing to ensure conformance with contract documents.

The role requires a High School Diploma with 2 years of related experience, a valid US driver's license, and the ability to communicate in English. Preferred certifications include Nuclear Radiation Safety and CTQP/IMSAs listed in the job posting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with 2 years related construction inspection experience.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License required for site visits; Motor Vehicle Records review may apply.
• Preferred: Nuclear Radiation Safety, Stormwater Inspector Certification, CTQP, IMSA certifications.

Responsibilities

• Inspect construction work and perform field tests per contract documents.
• Assist Senior CEI Inspector and review work in progress.
• Monitor quality, performance, specifications and code compliance.
• Maintain daily field inspection records.
• Participate in punch lists, testing and commissioning.
• Track QA progress and monitor on-site construction activities.
• Communicate effectively in English (verbal and written).
• Receive general supervision from the Senior Inspector.
