Job summary

Vortex Companies, LLC is seeking a CCTV Operator to support inspection and cleaning tasks for water, sewer, and industrial infrastructure. Position involves working around waterlines and sewers, with travel requirements and flexible hours.

You will operate CCTV cameras, perform jetting and line repair tasks, locate manholes, and assist in project execution while adhering to safety protocols and quality standards.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience with water, sewer, televising, jetting, or CIPP construction.
• Knowledge of CCTV equipment operation and high pressure sewer cleaning equipment.
• PACP/MACP/LACP preferred.
• Strong knowledge of plans and specifications.
• Good customer service and communication skills; mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Operate remote CCTV cameras and record interiors of pipelines for inspections.
• Jetting, cabling, and installing clean-outs.
• Locate manholes from maps and perform related tasks.
• Support sewer maintenance, inspection, or rehabilitation projects.
• Set up/take-down traffic control in streets.
• Store footage and monitor surveillance.
