Job summary

Vortex Companies, LLC is seeking a CCTV Operator to inspect pipelines, locate manholes, and support sewer maintenance projects. The role involves operating cameras, recording footage, and assisting with jetting and clean-out installation across water and sewer systems.

Travel is required; typical hours are in a full-time schedule with potential shift work, evenings, or weekends. Applicants should have 1+ year experience and safety-conscious approach to field tasks.

Qualifications

• At least 1-year experience with water, sewer, televising, jetting, or CIPP construction.
• Familiarity with closed video camera equipment and high-pressure sewer cleaning equipment.
• Safety-conscious with ability to follow plans and specifications.
• PACP/MACP/LACP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate remote CCTV cameras to inspect pipelines and assess cleaning or lining needs.
• Jetting, cabling, installing clean-outs, locate manholes from maps.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and support project tasks.
• Assist with sewer maintenance, inspection, or rehabilitation work as required.
• Set up/take down traffic control and document fieldwork footage.
