Fabcon is seeking a Field Caulker on the East Coast for a permanent, full-time role. Working 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday–Friday, you will caulk precast concrete panels as part of a crew.

Responsibilities include completing tasks safely and efficiently, following directions from the Caulk Crew Foreperson, and performing related construction duties. Travel and overtime may be required; union membership is encouraged.

Competenze

• Construction experience required; caulking experience preferred.
• General knowledge of construction practices; two or more years of construction or manual labor experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to carry out simple and complex verbal instructions.
• Ability to safely work at heights, including from ladders and aerial work platforms.
• Ability to obtain membership in a local union.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• Ability to travel extensively, including overnight travel 50% or more of the time, and work overtime as required.
• Ability to traverse uneven ground, move materials weighing at least 50 pounds, and climb onto flatbed semi-trailers.
• Spatial awareness and depth perception necessary to perform field duties safely.
• Ability to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions and around dirt, dust, and noise from heavy machinery and vehicles.
• Ability to work well with others and maintain professional conduct.
