Job summary

Liberty Puerto Rico is seeking a Service Technician to support elite customer service by diagnosing and resolving CATV and network issues in the field. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing the distribution system, reading signal levels, and collaborating with other technicians to ensure high-quality service.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma, 1–2 years in CATV, and SCTE-BPI Certification; bilingual Spanish-English communication is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate degree preferred.
• 1–2 years of CATV technical experience.
• SCTE-BPI Certification is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Support and repair CATV distribution systems.
• Assist training of technicians and collaborate with other technicians.
• Maintain system levels and test equipment; report results to NOC/Axis System.
• Diagnose and fix service problems and outages.
• Read signal levels with field meters and adjust installations.
• Ensure installations meet company standards for quality and performance.
• Climb poles, use bucket trucks when needed, and lift up to 75 lbs.
• Keep records of tests, inventory, and vehicle stock.
• Demonstrate safety and conduct as per company policy.
