Job summary

Zito Media is seeking a full-time Broadband Maintenance Technician to perform routine and preventative maintenance on CATV feeder and trunk systems, ensuring system performance standards. The role supports Service Technicians and requires a high school diploma and 5 years CATV experience.

Responsibilities include fault identification, repairs, and preventive tasks, with travel to other states as needed. A valid driver's license and the ability to work in bucket trucks are required.

Qualifications

• 5 years CATV experience or related work history in the cable tv industry
• Understanding of and ability to use signal testing and measurement tools
• Ability to apply technical expertise to diagnose and fix faults
• Strong communication with customers about reception problems
• Professional conduct and ability to work with minimal supervision
• Valid driver's license with clean record

Responsibilities

• Identify faults to maintain signal level and picture quality
• Repair or replace passive or active components as needed
• Perform signal egress/ingress detection and test measurements
• Restore signal outages and balance the system
• Complete work orders and follow up on service requests
• Audit the system for unauthorized connections
• Activate new plant and perform preliminary proofs
• Travel to other states to cover absences
