Job summary

Liberty Latin America is seeking a Service Technician to support Liberty Business Services by answering customer inquiries, resolving technical issues, and guiding end-users through step-by-step solutions. You will handle CATV distribution, diagnose problems, and ensure quality service across installations.

Responsibilities include maintenance, equipment operation, system sweeps, and coordination with NOC for provisioning.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent experience in Electronics, preferred.
• 2 years related technical experience in the CATV industry.
• Previous experience as a CATV installer.
• SCTE-BPI Certification is a requirement.

Responsibilities

• Preventative maintenance and repair of CATV distribution system.
• Assist with training of technicians.
• Collaborate with other technicians on field work.
• Stabilizes the system using test equipment and procedures.
• Fix service problems and report to NOC when provisioning.
• Read signal levels and adjust as needed during installation.

Education

Associates degree in Electronics

2 years CATV experience

SCTE-BPI Certification
