Job summary

Sparus Holdings is seeking a Cathodic Protection Technician to perform pipe-to-soil potential testing on natural gas pipeline systems across the Akron area.

You will travel to test points, record readings, and complete reports while maintaining safety, professionalism, and accuracy. A high school diploma and valid driver’s license are required, with English literacy essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform pipe-to-soil potential readings on natural gas pipelines at test stations, services, regulators, and other locations.
• Travel daily to assigned test points across routes and varied terrain.
• Accurately document test results and complete required forms and reports on time.
• Represent the company professionally when interacting with client personnel, customers, and the public, including entering private property as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a safety-first mindset.
• Maintain high attention to detail in testing, documentation, and reporting.
