Job summary

Evolving Solution Services seeks a Cathodic Protection Technician to install CP systems, perform surveys, and take pipe-to-soil readings. You will work outdoors, interpret technical manuals, and meet safety standards on project sites.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, a valid license, and 1–2 years of corrosion experience. AMPP/NACE CP1 certification is required with CP2 preferred.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or GED equivalent
• Valid State Driver’s License with clean abstract
• Ability to pass an observed DOT drug screening as well as being subject to random testing throughout employment
• Pass background check
• Ability to complete Operator Qualifications as assigned
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be able to read and comprehend technical operational manuals
• Minimum of 1-2 years pipeline/corrosion related experience
• Basic understanding of multi-meters and related electrical test equipment
• Knowledge of half-cells, UT equipment, cadweld processes, coating evaluations/applications equipment, CPDM, CPS, data loggers, pipe locators, current interrupters, related testing/diagnostic and pipe protection equipment and processes

Responsibilities

• Install CP Systems
• Set Rectifier Interruption
• Perform CIS, DCVG, and ACVG Surveys
• Take pipe-to-soil readings
