Job summary

Kestra Medical Technologies, Inc. in O’Fallon, Illinois is seeking a contractor ASSURE Patient Specialist (APS) to fit and train local patients with a wearable defibrillator.

The role includes traveling to hospitals and patients’ homes to provide fitting services and to measure garment sizes. You will certify as an ASSURE Patient Specialist, educate patients and caregivers, and coordinate with prescribers while handling inventory and documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in patient and/or clinician education is preferred.
• Knowledge of MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Teams is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned geographic region.

Responsibilities

• Fit and train local patients with a wearable defibrillator (ASSURE) as assigned from corporate headquarters.
• Provide instruction and build confidence with ASSURE patients.
• Schedule services by contacting prescribers, caregivers and patients.
• Travel to hospitals and patient homes to provide fitting services.
• Measure patients to determine garment size and manage inventory of kits and garments.
• Transmit essential paperwork for receipt of the ASSURE garment and services.
