Job summary

AtPrince Telecom, LLC is hiring a Cable Installation Technician to safely install and troubleshoot video services, internet, telephone, and alarm equipment in customer homes and businesses. You’ll identify issues, explain services to customers, and maintain company vehicles and gear.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and US work authorization. Prior cable installation experience is preferred; OT, travel, and after-hours work may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or relevant work experience required.
• Valid state driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Authorized to work in the United States for this company.
• Previous cable installation or related field experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, disconnect, and troubleshoot video service, internet, telephone, and/or alarm equipment in customer homes and businesses.
• Identify and remedy sources of customer-perceived issues.
• Review requested services with the customer to ensure understanding and agreement.
• Educate customers on product and service usage.
• Clean, maintain, and stock vehicle and equipment.
• Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/after-hours duties as needed.
• Work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.
