Job summary

AtPrince Telecom, LLC is seeking a Cable Installation Technician to safely install and troubleshoot video services, internet, telephone, and alarm equipment in customer homes and businesses. You’ll identify issues and educate customers on product usage while maintaining vehicles and equipment.

The role involves overtime, travel, and after-hours responsibilities as needed, with a focus on safe, professional service and responsive support for clients.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
• Valid state driver’s license (not provisional) with acceptable driving record.
• Previous experience in cable installation or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, disconnect, and troubleshoot video service, internet, telephone, and/or alarm equipment in customer homes and businesses
• Identify and remedy sources of customer-perceived issues
• Review requested services with the customer to ensure understanding and agreement
• Educate the customer regarding product and service usage
• Maintain and stock vehicle and equipment
• Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/afterhours responsibilities as needed
• Perform work in all weather conditions
• Other duties as assigned
