Job summary

IICRC is seeking a driven Business Development Manager for Disaster Restoration Services. In this field-based role, you will be the face of the company, building partnerships with insurance professionals, property managers, and other referral sources to drive growth.

You’ll conduct in-person visits, host events, and coordinate educational sessions while collaborating with operations to ensure high-quality service from referral to project completion.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in outside sales or business development in restoration or related industries.
• Existing relationships with local insurance agents or property managers is a major plus.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to travel daily within territory and pass background check/drug test.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a network of insurance agents, adjusters, and other referral partners.
• Conduct in-person visits, presentations, and check-ins to educate partners on services.
• Identify new referral opportunities and key decision-makers.
• Coordinate lunch-and-learns, CE classes, and marketing events.
• Respond quickly to referrals and ensure exceptional client experience.
• Collaborate with operations and project management for smooth referrals.
• Track activities and pipeline in CRM and provide reports.
• Represent the company at industry events and local functions.
