Job summary

Boston Beer Company is hiring a Brewery Representative for Eastern Connecticut. The ideal candidate must live in the Greater Hartford area and work in-field with visits to accounts within the territory.

The role emphasizes consultative sales, product merchandising, and staff education. Some weekends/holidays and travel are required, with a base salary in the $48k–$63k range and a discretionary annual bonus.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of proven results-oriented experience in outside sales or within the food & beverage industry.
• An intense competitive spirit with an assertive, confident personality.
• Valid driver's license, registered and insured vehicle, and ability to drive to and from accounts continuously.
• Ability to lift and move cases of beer frequently.
• Ability to climb, kneel, and stoop to arrange and display point-of-sale frequently.

Responsibilities

• Sell our entire BBC product portfolio.
• 100% focus on selling products and upgrading product lines in retail accounts.
• Identify major accounts and develop a plan to establish business.
• Improve conditions and merchandise accounts with displays and POS items.
• Partner with distributors to ensure orders, delivery, and growth.
• Conduct staff educations, beer tastings, and promotions.
• Travel within market to service retailers and wholesalers.
