Job summary

  • Eligible to work in the United States.
  • 21+ to drive due to ACE insurance and liability requirements.
  • Ability to work outdoors and in a professional manner.

Responsibilities

  • Remove invasive ungulate species from Sevilleta NWR and plan re-invasion prevention.
  • Lead NEPA compliance and coordinate with land managers (Bureau of Land Management, NM Game & Fish, ranchers).
  • Construct or repair perimeter fences and design exclosures to exclude invasives.
  • Assist with habitat restoration and invasive plant control on restoration sites.
  • Support the refuge's biological program and gain exposure to land-management agencies.
