Job summary

General Motors LLC is seeking a Field Work Arrangement Wholesale Market Area Manager to lead dealer and IAM relationships across North Carolina, South Carolina and portions of Virginia and West Virginia. This field-based role requires up to 75% travel and relocation to an approved area within 60 days.

You will analyze dealer performance, support launches, coordinate marketing, and mentor dealers to drive GM vehicle and parts sales while ensuring CSI targets and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Sales, Service, or Operations driving revenue growth.
• Strong automotive industry knowledge and business acumen preferred (wholesale, aftersales, service & parts).
• Ability to travel up to 75% within the territory.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft Suite including data analysis, reporting, and visualization tools.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a liaison between GM, dealerships, external fleet customers, and IAM stores.
• Provide mentoring and consulting to help dealers meet monthly and annual sales/service objectives.
• Track CSI results and customer feedback to identify deficiencies and opportunities.
• Support product launches by coordinating marketing and advertising activities among dealers, IAM stores, and GM.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor training and compliance with GM requirements and objectives.
• Support inventory management, including vehicle and parts ordering and balancing.
• Analyze dealer sales and local market conditions to identify revenue opportunities.
• Assist with customer problem resolution and drive GM vehicle/parts sales.
