Merck is seeking a field-based Professional Services Veterinarian to support the Tri-State region (NY, NJ, CT, RI). You will coach, lead, and advise internal and external customers while advancing our Animal Health portfolio.

You will prepare lectures, deliver scientific content, and partner with regional teams to reach regional priorities. The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration and customer-focused problem solving.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD degree required.
• Ability to translate complex issues for diverse audiences.
• Excellent presentation and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as regional technical expert for Animal Health portfolio.
• Prepare and deliver technical lectures to customers and organizations.
• Collaborate with regional sales to develop and execute business strategies.
• Engage with key opinion leaders in clinical/university settings.
• Represent the Animal Health portfolio at schools and conferences.
• Coach sales reps in technical selling skills.
