Job summary

Ameren Transmission is seeking a Transmission Contractor Services Supervisor to oversee vendor-based electric and civil construction crews. You will ensure safety, policy compliance, and project performance across multiple sites. Overnight travel may be required for project work.

The role emphasizes input to planning, budget tracking, and coordination with customers and contractors, with a compensation range of $88,500.00–$137,200.00 and potential incentives.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of relevant experience in electric transmission or distribution.
• Three+ years in a supervisor role in heavy industry or military environment.
• Journeyman line or journeyman substation experience preferred.
• Utility experience preferred.
• Supervisory or contractor leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide input to project planning and design.
• Manage, develop, and evaluate contractor crews engaged in construction, maintenance and inspection of electric facilities.
• Set clear safety and quality expectations through observations and audits.
• Schedule, assign, and direct work safely and efficiently per contracts.
• Maintain contact with contractor supervision to assess resources.
• Monitor budgets and schedules to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Document scope changes and provide updates as required.
• Coordinate activities with customers, contractors, stakeholders and other departments.
• Enforce WPA, LOTO and safety rules and conduct safety observations.
• Contribute to department goals and costs/quality improvements.
