Job summary

Aspiranet in Bakersfield, CA is seeking compassionate Support Counselors to join the Intensive Home-Based Services team. This full-time, non-exempt role provides direct support to youth and caregivers, implementing individualized plans that promote healing, stability, and growth.

You will travel to clients' homes or community settings, build trusting relationships, document progress with the team, and support placement stability while serving 4–7 clients with a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology or a related field.
• Experience working in a mental health capacity with children and families is preferred, but not required.
• Meets all agency, funder, and regulatory employment requirements.

Responsibilities

• Travel to clients' homes or community settings to coach at-risk youth.
• Build trusting relationships and document progress with the team.
• Meet with clients individually or in family settings to support placement goals.
• Maintain a flexible schedule serving 4–7 clients at optimal times.
