Job summary

The Harris Center for Mental Health and IDD seeks a Service Coordinator Mentor who will coach service coordinators, provide field and office mentorship, and help teams navigate complex cases. Travel to consumer homes is required; flexible scheduling is expected.

Under the Program Director, you will develop mentorship materials, monitor progress, and report outcomes. A bachelor’s in a social or human services field plus two years in human services or IDD is required; a valid Texas license and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social, behavioral or human service field.
• Two years in human services or with IDD required if degree is not in listed focuses.
• Two years service coordination experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and orient service coordinators in functions and activities.
• Provide field and office training sessions and problem solving.
• Develop and update mentorship materials as needed.
• Track progress and report weekly to Program Director.
• Ensure safety, health and training requirements are met.
