Job summary

World Fuel Services is seeking a Retail Operations & Brand Performance Manager to elevate execution, consistency, and performance across our branded retail network in the Kansas City area. The role is field-based with territory ownership and regular travel with independent dealers to boost store execution and customer experience.

The ideal candidate brings 1–3 years in field-based retail or sales, strong communication, and the ability to influence without direct authority.

Qualifications

1–3 years of field‑based retail, sales, customer support, or operations experience.
Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
Able to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
Proven ability to influence without direct authority.
Willingness to travel regularly within a 50‑mile radius of your territory.

Responsibilities

Own retail execution across assigned territory, ensuring brand image, merchandising, and operational standards are consistently met.
Conduct on‑site assessments and coach retailers on improvements to PMPS and brand compliance metrics.
Proactively identify execution gaps and partner with dealers to drive improvement.
Build strong, trusted relationships with independent retail partners and guide retailers on improving operational discipline, customer focus, and long‑term brand readiness.
Champion available marketing, promotional, and branded credit card programs to support retailer success.
Execute retail business plans and ensure on‑time implementation of programs and promotions.
Maintain strong performance evaluations from leadership and field management.
