Job summary

Elekta is seeking an Application Specialist - Treatment Planning to deliver hands-on training and expert guidance across Elekta's radiotherapy solutions, focusing on treatment planning systems. This field-based role covers the UK, Ireland, Benelux and Nordics with travel up to 70% to ensure successful implementations and ongoing optimisation.

You will train clinical teams, support go-live, and collaborate with Sales, R&D and international colleagues to enhance workflows, accuracy and patient

Qualifications

• A degree in Medical Physics or related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Experience in a radiotherapy environment with treatment planning workflows.
• Experience with Monaco treatment planning system is preferred.
• Knowledge of 3D and IMRT/VMAT planning concepts.
• Willingness to travel up to 70% across Europe.

Responsibilities

• Deliver onsite and remote tailored training for Elekta treatment planning solutions.
• Support customers through implementation, go-live and optimisation of workflows.
• Provide clinical and technical guidance for safe use of Elekta solutions.
• Build and maintain long‑term customer relationships and timely support.
• Gather feedback and share insights with Product and Project Management.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, R&D and international teams.
• Support exhibitions, conferences and seminars as required.
• Contribute to training materials and learning resources.
