Job summary

AbbVie in Massachusetts is seeking a field-based Sales Representative to execute brand strategy, manage the assigned territory, and build strong relationships with health providers to drive short- and long-term sales while centering patient outcomes.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with 5+ years in pharma/health sales preferred, and a track record of leadership and strategic thinking.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and relevant industry experience required
• At least five years in the health/pharma industry with 3+ years in pharma/health/science
• Proven leadership and strong presentation skills
• Adaptable selling style in a matrix environment
• Pharma sales experience in physician/account based selling preferred
• Pharma knowledge and ability to act as expert resource
• English proficiency in speaking and writing preferred
• Must meet HCIR credentialing requirements and maintain credentials
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass pre-employment screening

Responsibilities

• Deliver sales performance and achieve KPIs and targets
• Create pre-call plans and post-call evaluations to improve performance
• Build trusted relationships with customers and resolve needs
• Develop and execute territory call plans to maximize access and opportunities
• Share market intelligence with in-field and brand teams to align strategy
• Differentiate AbbVie’s value proposition to health providers and maintain experts
