Job summary

RESICAP’s ResiHome division seeks a Property Manager to oversee a market of homes and lead a team in a field-based role. You will coordinate property operations, drive occupancy goals, and ensure resident and investor satisfaction.

The role requires a real estate license, a Bachelor’s in Business Management, and proven experience managing remote teams across states. Strong leadership, budgeting, and compliance with landlord/tenant laws are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years as Property Manager with at least 2 years of remote field and people management.
• Active real estate license in the state of placement.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or similar field.
• Proven track record of maximizing occupancy and reducing delinquency.
• Proficient with technology utilizing Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite.
• Ability to hire, train and motivate a highly effective team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Thorough understanding of Landlord/Tenant laws in multiple states.
• Aptitude for managing multiple daily tasks and longer-term strategic projects.
• Possess valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Daily oversight of all team members (1-5 direct/indirect people).
• Manage daily operations to ensure all goals are met for the company, resident and investors.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for an assigned market and be a resource for all team members.
• Partner with training team to ensure that all laws, processes and procedures are followed.
• Handle escalated resident issues/concerns, including maintenance issues, to ensure resident satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate account receivable activities, including posting charges and payments, maintaining resident ledgers and collection efforts.
• Maximize revenue, minimize expenses, maximize resident experience and achieve financial goal for homes in the assigned market.
• Achieve the highest level of annual renewals and rent escalation as possible.
• Maintain ongoing knowledge of assigned market, market rents, and demographics to guide leasing activity in partnership with the Director of Leasing.
• Ensure team follows all terms of Fair Housing, FCRA, ADA, and other laws.
• Conduct mystery shopper activities on product and processes to ensure applicants can easily apply and move in.
• Assist with in-field duties such as home showing and move-in/out activities and HOA/networking.
