Job summary

Myriad Genetics is seeking an Oncology Sales Consultant to drive adoption of our leading genomics and precision oncology portfolio. This field‑based role focuses on expanding business across oncology practices and health systems while executing strategic territory plans and exceeding sales goals.

You will educate providers on the clinical utility of germline and genomic tests and integrate them into patient care pathways, leveraging a consultative approach to improve patient outcomes through

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field preferred.
• Field-based role requiring residence within territory.
• 12+ years of successful sales experience in oncology, molecular diagnostics, or related healthcare sector preferred.
• Experience selling clinical products in oncology with knowledge of Oncology call points.
• Proven ability to meet/exceed sales targets in competitive markets.
• Experience expanding business within large health systems and integrated networks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sales Execution: Manage full lifecycle of product sales, including new business development and lead generation.
• Apply a consultative approach to identify customer needs, present solutions, and close business.
• Account Development: Build and maintain relationships with oncology accounts across practices and networks.
• Strategic Territory Management: Develop and execute territory plans to exceed sales goals.
• Clinical Education: Deliver presentations on Myriad hereditary and precision oncology solutions to clinicians.
• Cross Functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing, medical affairs, payer markets, and internal teams.
• Market and Competitor Intelligence: Monitor competition and industry trends to inform strategy.
• Compliance: Adhere to regulatory guidelines in promotional activities.
• Team and Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead projects and mentor less experienced teammates.
