Job summary

Catalent Pharma Solutions is recruiting for an Account Executive for Rx Pharmaceutical Softgel and Late-Stage Oral Solids. This field-based role focuses on developing new development, tech transfer, and commercial supply opportunities with both new and existing customers.

You will build relationships with decision-makers, execute account plans, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to negotiate and close contracts while driving portfolio growth and revenue across a broad service portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a Scientific discipline, Business, or related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of combined business development or sales and scientific or technical experience in the pharmaceutical contract service sales.
• Experience or understanding of the proposal development process, business quotes, budgeting, and managing defined timelines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiating skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Drive business development for Rx softgel and late-stage oral solids programs by identifying, qualifying, and closing opportunities.
• Build strategic relationships with key decision-makers and influencers, uncover customer needs, and align solutions.
• Develop and execute account plans, managing forecasting, pricing, contract negotiations, renewals, amendments, and reviews.
• Collaborate with R&D, Contract Management, Legal, Finance, and Operations to prepare proposals and negotiate agreements.
• Present Catalent's capabilities and value proposition to customers and stakeholders.
• Expand revenue through cross-selling and new opportunities across Catalent's service portfolio.
