Job summary

Journey Payroll & HR is seeking a friendly, reliable Part-Time Partner Development Assistant to build relationships with accounting firms across Fort Collins, Boulder, and Denver. You’ll hand-deliver marketing materials, generate appointments, and represent the company in the community.

The role is field-based and 20–30 hours per month, ideal for students or those seeking flexible hours. You will work closely with leadership and have opportunities to grow into larger sales responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Willingness and ability to travel regularly to nearby cities.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable initiating friendly, professional conversations with people you don't know.
• Highly organized and dependable and able to work independently.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Prior sales, customer service, hospitality, or relationship-based experience is a plus but not required.
• Self-motivated, competitive, and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Hand-deliver monthly marketing flyers and a companion gift or standout item to 100 to 150 accounting firm contacts each month.
• Develop genuine relationships with the people you meet and represent Journey in a friendly, professional, and memorable way.
• Help generate appointments for Journey's sales team through your relationship-building efforts.
• Participate in monthly meetings with company ownership and the CEO to review results, share what you're seeing in the market, and contribute to outreach strategy.
• Communicate professionally and promptly with Journey's marketing and sales team regarding activity and feedback from the field.
