Lumos is seeking an On-site OSP Construction Project Engineer to drive fiber builds across the Summerville market. You will oversee contractor performance, track safety, quality, schedule and budget, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to move projects from readiness to closeout.

You’ll manage multiple active builds, ensure compliance with OSHA/NESC, and travel as needed within the market while residing within an hour of Summerville. A background in FTTH/fiber deployment is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in OSP construction or related field operations.
• Experience managing contractors and multiple active projects.
• Valid, unrestricted driver’s license with ability to travel within the market.

Responsabilités

• Own multiple OSP builds across the market from construction readiness through closeout.
• Set expectations for contractors and subcontractors, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and budget.
• Track production, schedules, costs, risks, and field progress; provide timely updates to stakeholders.
• Inspect active jobsites for OSHA, NESC, and Lumos construction standards.
• Coordinate permitting, materials, utilities, municipalities, and other field dependencies.
• Resolve field roadblocks and community concerns quickly and professionally.
• Partner with Engineering, Operations, Permitting, and Supply Chain to improve plans and scale.
