Job summary

Merck in the United States is seeking an Associate Director Oncology Treatment Site Lead to educate and support treatment sites through onboarding, readiness, and end-to-end operational workflows. This field-based role requires coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent site execution and timely issue resolution.

The position focuses on operational and process support, not clinical treatment, and will cover the Texas geography with travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant healthcare or life sciences experience.
• Strong understanding of the healthcare ecosystem.
• Proven track record working with provider organizations and operational stakeholders.
• Ability to navigate white space environments with evolving processes.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to travel ~50% and hold a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Lead onboarding and readiness support for product treatment sites.
• Deliver process-focused education for site stakeholders using approved resources.
• Support sites to ensure end-to-end treatment journey execution.
• Serve as product operational SME for assigned sites and provide support regarding processes, operations, and logistics.
• Act as primary contact for operational issues, triaging and coordinating with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional oncology field teams to ensure coordinated engagement.
• Build relationships with site operational leaders and deliver reliable operational support.
• Use data dashboards to assess site metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Synthesize site feedback to improve HQ communications and workflows.
