Job summary

AbbVie in the United States seeks a field-based access and reimbursement professional to educate providers and payers on patient support programs and reimbursement strategies within oncology. You will engage with HCPs, coordinate with internal oncology teams, and monitor payer trends to optimize product access across assigned territories.

The role requires knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid policies, billing practices, and credentialing, with the flexibility to travel within the territory to

Qualifications

• Oncology/hematology-oncology reimbursement experience preferred.
• Knowledge of coverage, coding, billing, and payer policies.
• Ability to communicate complex coding and billing information across settings.
• Knowlege of Parts A, B, C, D Medicare reimbursement dynamics and HCIR credentialing.

Responsibilities

• Educate HCPs on patient support programs and reimbursement tools.
• Educate on acquisition and access options including specialty networks and distribution.
• Provide expertise on payer policies to educate providers on billing and submissions.
• Collaborate with Oncology internal stakeholders for key account management.
• Report payer trends to Patient Services and MHC teams.
• Establish relationships with providers within territory.
• Stay current on managed care, reimbursement, and policy activities.
