Job summary

The IMA Group is seeking an experienced Nurse Case Manager to support injured workers through recovery, coordinating with physicians, employers, claims professionals, and the care team. This field-based role is based in Los Angeles and surrounding areas, requiring substantial travel and independent caseload management.

Qualifications

• Active California RN license.
• ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Clinical experience in ICU, ER, trauma, orthopedics, neurology or other acute care specialties.
• Workers’ Compensation Case Management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and care coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload.
• Willingness to travel extensively throughout the service area.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care for injured workers, facilitate appointments and communicate with providers.
• Meet with injured workers and travel across the assigned territory (80–85% travel).
• Documentation, follow-up, and ongoing care coordination.
