Job summary

Stryker is seeking a field-based Neurosurgical Sales Representative to cover Washington DC/Bethesda. You will support surgeons, hospital teams, and clinical staff with product expertise, procedural and consultative sales in dynamic clinical settings.

The role emphasizes building territory plans, pursuing account growth, supporting surgical cases and product evaluations, and educating clinicians on clinical data and economic value. It is commission-based with bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and minimum 2 years of quota-carrying outside sales experience in medical device, healthcare, or consultative sales environments; OR Bachelor’s degree and experience in a customer-facing, leadership, military, professional athletics, or another high-performance environment with interest in a sales career; OR Minimum 5 years of professional outside sales/territory-based selling with a track record of meeting goals.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales by promoting neurosurgical products across the territory while meeting/exceeding goals.
• Support product evaluations, surgical procedures, and clinical demonstrations in operating rooms and procedural settings.
• Educate surgeons, nurses, and clinicians on product applications, clinical data, and economic value.
• Build and maintain relationships with hospitals, health systems, surgeons, and clinical stakeholders.
• Identify new business opportunities and territory growth initiatives.
• Track sales activity and territory performance using approved tools and reporting processes.
• Coordinate case coverage and provide on-site support during neurosurgical procedures.
• Collaborate with regional leadership to develop territory plans and execute business objectives.
