Job summary

Compass Pathways Inc. in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Neuroscience Therapeutic Sales Specialist to drive adoption of a novel mental health therapy within certified centers.

You will build partnerships with psychiatrists, treatment centers, and health systems, delivering clinical education and supporting patient access. The role requires strong clinical acumen, 5–8+ years in pharma/biotech sales, experience with site-of-care models, payer processes, and pre-launch activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (advanced degree preferred).
• 5–8+ years of pharmaceutical or biotech sales experience, preferably in specialty or complex therapeutic areas.
• Experience in psychiatry, CNS, or behavioral health markets; medical and pharmacy benefit reimbursement; buy-and-bill and site-of-care dynamics; payer processes.
• Demonstrated success in launching novel therapies or operating in pre-launch environments.
• Experience working with specialty treatment centers, IDNs, academic medical centers, or complex site-of-care models.

Responsibilities

• Execute territory-level commercial strategy to support launch and uptake of the therapy.
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with psychiatrists, treatment centers, and health systems.
• Deliver scientifically accurate, compliant product and disease-state education to providers.
• Identify appropriate patients and support providers in understanding selection and referral pathways.
• Collaborate with treatment sites to support onboarding and treatment workflows.
• Navigate site-of-care dynamics and patient flow considerations.
• Partner cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, Market Access, Patient Support, and Commercial Operations.
• Support patient access by understanding reimbursement pathways and connecting to resources.
• Gather and communicate actionable field insights to inform brand strategy and launch execution.
• Manage territory business planning, call planning, and performance tracking.
• Demonstrate ethical, compliant, patient-centric engagement.
