Job summary

Insurcomm Restoration in Cleveland, OH is seeking a Mitigation Project Manager to own emergency restoration projects from inspection to walkthrough. You will secure scopes, manage budgets, and ensure timely, within-budget completion to company standards.

You will lead with urgency and integrity, coordinating with crews, insurance adjusters, and clients to deliver profitable outcomes while maintaining exceptional client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in restoration, mitigation, or related construction field.
• Proven ability to scope losses and write accurate estimates.
• Strong understanding of insurance restoration processes.
• Demonstrated leadership and project management experience.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple active projects.
• IICRC Water (WRT) certification or equivalent preferred.
• Willingness to obtain Mold, Fire, OSHA, Biohazard certifications.
• Willingness to participate in On-Call rotation.
• Valid driving record and reliable attendance.
• Proficiency with job management software and Microsoft Teams.
• Team-oriented mindset with a positive, solution-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Inspect losses and determine accurate scopes of mitigation services and costs.
• Prepare detailed and profitable estimates for various restoration losses.
• Manage ~1M+ in annual project volume.
• Negotiate scope and pricing with insurers or clients.
• Define project expectations and inclusions/exclusions.
• Obtain signed contracts and close restoration sales.
• Develop budgets and pre-plan jobs for efficient execution.
• Coordinate daily production with the Project Coordinator.
• Relay scope to Crew Chiefs and Technicians; provide field support.
• Oversee production quality and scope completion.
• Conduct final walkthroughs with Crew Chiefs for client satisfaction.
• Process change orders and open item billings as needed.
• Assist with collections and AR processes.
• Track equipment and materials usage.
• Analyze profitability and maintain weekly progress reporting.
• Attend weekly update meetings with AR and management.
• Ensure daily PSA documentation with notes.
• Follow company policies and workflows.
• Provide oversight and coaching to restoration personnel.
• Assist in recruiting and developing mitigation staff.
