Job summary

OneLegacy, based in Azusa/Redlands, CA, seeks a Medical Examiner Donation Specialist (MEDS) to maximize organ, eye and tissue donation opportunities within partner coroner and medical examiner offices. You will gather clinical information, perform donor screening, coordinate recovery logistics, and build strong relationships with ME/Coroner staff to support timely referrals.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and EMT or surgical tech or paramedic licensure, with three years in allied health,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
• ONE of: EMT, Surgical Technologist, or Paramedic licensure.
• Three years of experience in an allied health field.
• Clean driving record and valid California driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Maximize donation opportunities at coroner/ME offices.
• Screen potential donors and gather medical information.
• Coordinate tissue/organ recovery and refer real-time to teams.
