AdaptHealth, LLC is seeking a Medical Equipment Technician to deliver, set up, and support respiratory and home medical equipment in patients' homes, clinics, and long-term care settings. You will educate patients and caregivers to ensure safe operation, comfort, and independence.

The role is primarily field-based with daily home visits and on-call coverage in the assigned area, requiring strict adherence to HIPAA, safety standards, and timely documentation.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Customer service or healthcare-related experience preferred.
• One year of healthcare technician or field service experience preferred.
• Senior level requires two years in a similar role.

Mansioni

• Develop and maintain knowledge of HME products, services, and applicable regulations.
• Perform patient assessments and re-assessments to support ongoing care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on the safe use, care, and troubleshooting of respiratory and HME equipment.
• Respond to patient equipment issues, including emergencies when required.
• Deliver, set up, retrieve, clean, and maintain equipment per policies and safety standards.
• Process orders and complete documentation accurately to support care and reimbursement.
• Promote company services and products to referral sources as appropriate.
• Safely operate and maintain a company vehicle.
