Job summary

AdaptHealth, LLC in Colorado is seeking a Medical Equipment Technician who will deliver, set up, and support respiratory and home medical equipment in patients\' homes and clinics. You will educate patients and caregivers to ensure safe use and independence, while adhering to HIPAA and safety standards.

The role involves field-based visits, equipment maintenance, documentation, and collaboration with care teams to support high-quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Customer service, field-based, or healthcare experience preferred.
• One year of healthcare technician or related experience preferred.
• Senior level requires two years of relevant experience, including one year in a similar role.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, set up, and maintain respiratory and HME equipment.
• Educate patients and caregivers on safe use and troubleshooting of equipment.
• Respond to patient equipment issues, including during emergencies when required.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and report hazards or incidents.
• Process orders and complete documentation accurately to support patient care and reimbursement.
• Safely operate and maintain a company vehicle.
• Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled.
