Job summary

Turner Mining Group is seeking an Equipment Superintendent in California. You will lead maintenance activities in a fast-growing mining services environment, spending majority of time in the field and ensuring safety, reliability, and cost control across maintenance crews.

The role reports to the Regional Equipment Manager and focuses on optimizing maintenance strategies, scheduling, and contractor coordination, with emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years in Maintenance General Foreman level or higher in heavy industry.
• Minimum 2+ years managing maintenance scheduling and workflow.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety performance in the Maintenance Department.
• Deploy initiatives and communicate messages to maintenance crews at site.
• Promote and comply with Safety, Health and Environmental policies and regulations.
• Spend 40–60% of time in the field; demonstrate visible leadership.
• Provide safe systems of work, training, and supervision.
• Develop maintenance strategy objectives and meet targets.
• Manage resources for schedule compliance and backlog.
• Contribute to incident investigations and follow-up actions.
