Job summary

Mountain Home is seeking a full-time Supported Employment & Education Coordinator (SEC) to deliver IPS-based employment and education services in the Missoula community. The role partners with clients to set and achieve competitive goals while collaborating with behavioral health treatment teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or a similar field and/or related experience providing services to young adults with special needs or cognitive/developmental delays.
• Familiar with social services in the Missoula community.
• Knowledge of the IPS (Individualized Placement and Support) model.

Responsibilities

• Engage clients and build trusting relationships to support competitive employment and education goals.
• Provide employment and education services including intake, assessment, placement, coaching, and follow-up.
• Assist with VRBS applications and coordinate with VRBS for shared clients.
• Transport clients to interviews, jobs, and school activities.
• Participate in team meetings and coordinate services with the treatment team.
• Spend majority of time in the community building relationships with employers, educators, and clients.
