Job summary

PEG, LLC is seeking motivated individuals to perform Home Energy Audits and contribute to energy efficiency in new residential construction. The role requires compliance with RESNET and Energy Star guidelines, including testing and inspections to ensure high performance buildings.

You will gain paid on-the-job training and opportunities to advance certifications such as HERS and HVAC grading. This field position involves travel within a 100-mile radius centered on Allentown, PA.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• HERS Rater, Energy Star, Green Building, ACCA 310 HVAC Grading, IECC, HVAC EPA, BPI and LEED certifications are a plus.
• 2 years of work experience in HVAC, home remodeling, or construction is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Perform Home Energy Audits following RESNET/Energy Star Guidelines.
• Visually observe energy features such as ductwork, insulation, framing, air sealing, ventilation.
• Conduct Blower Door and duct leakage testing with specialized equipment.
• Develop relationships with builders and code officials through professional communication.
