Job summary

PEG, LLC is seeking motivated individuals to perform Home Energy Audits for new residential construction, following RESNET and Energy Star guidelines. The role includes visual inspections, data collection, and blower door testing to assess energy performance.

Applicants should have HERS-related certifications or training and up to two years of HVAC or construction experience; travel within a 100-mile radius from Allentown, PA is required, with a weekday schedule and paid on-the-job training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• HERS Rater, Energy Star, Green Building, ACCA 310 HVAC Grading, IECC, HVAC EPA, BPI, LEED certifications are a plus.
• 2 years of work experience in HVAC, home remodeling, or construction is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Perform Home Energy Audits per RESNET/Energy Star guidelines, including visual inspection and blower door/duct testing.
• Develop relationships with builders and code officials through professional communication.
