Job summary

PEG, LLC is seeking motivated individuals to perform Home Energy Audits in accordance with RESNET Guidelines. You will inspect energy features, collect data, and operate testing equipment to assess building performance.

The role requires becoming a certified HERS Rater and includes paid on-the-job training, with potential for growth and certification support. The geographic area centers on Hackettstown, NJ, within a 100-mile radius.

Qualifications

• 2 years of work experience in HVAC, home remodeling, or construction.
• HERS Rater, Energy Star, Green Building, ACCA 310 HVAC Grading, IECC, HVAC EPA, BPI, LEED certifications are a plus.
• Able to travel daily to job sites and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform Home Energy Audits following RESNET/Energy Star guidelines.
• Conduct blower door and duct leakage testing to assess building performance.
