Job summary

PEG, LLC is a diverse energy efficiency and engineering firm seeking motivated individuals to join our building energy performance team. The role focuses on conducting Home Energy Audits, evaluating energy features, and supporting RESNET guidelines throughout new residential construction.

You will receive paid on-the-job training, pursue certifications (HERS, Energy Star, IECC), and work within a 100-mile radius centered on Hackettstown, NJ.

Qualifications

• Energy efficiency and building performance knowledge are preferred.
• Certifications such as HERS, Energy Star, LEED, and IECC are a plus.
• Experience in HVAC, home remodeling, or construction is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Perform Home Energy Audits following RESNET/Energy Star guidelines.
• Inspect energy features (ducts, insulation, framing, air sealing, ventilation).
• Use blower door/duct testing equipment to assess building performance.
