Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline is seeking a Health Informatics Manager in Market Access to drive HIT-enabled initiatives across US health systems. You will translate data insights into practical opportunities to improve patient identification, care workflows, and operational efficiency while ensuring governance and compliance.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate EHR tools, support account planning, and educate customers on HIT capabilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a healthcare or related field.
Minimum 3 years healthcare/pharma industry experience.
Minimum 2 years in health informatics or EHR-related roles in hospital, practice, or patient-care settings.
Experience with inpatient or ambulatory workflows and health information technology including major EHR platforms.
Customer-facing experience assessing needs and collaborating across teams with knowledge of EHR products and governance.
Epic or major EHR vendor certifications; RHIA/RHIT/CPHIMS preferred.
Advanced degree in health informatics or related field.
Strong collaboration, organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Partner with health-system stakeholders and cross-functional teams to align HIT resources with customer needs and workflows.
Assess customer workflows, EHR readiness, data insights, and barriers to identify opportunities to improve identification, care delivery, and efficiency.
Educate customers on approved EHR-enabled digital resources and support evaluation for potential use.
Contribute HIT expertise to account planning and customer engagement, sharing insights and trends with internal partners.
Serve as a HIT SME across Market Access and other GSK units, coordinating customer support and providing field input on scalable tools and resources.
Ensure customer ownership of clinical, technical, implementation, privacy, security, and governance decisions per GSK policies and compliance.
