Job summary

KO Storage is seeking a Facility Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance across multiple locations. This hands-on role requires troubleshooting, repairs, and proactive upkeep of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and grounds, with a focus on safety and security.

You will collaborate with District management to ensure facilities meet operational standards. The position offers a 40-hour week with some weekends/holidays, and time split across assigned locations.

Qualifications

• Field service and maintenance experience with a good mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service equipment as described.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; able to transfer files across devices.

Responsibilities

• Visit facilities to identify improvement opportunities and address maintenance, cleanliness, safety, and security concerns.
• Prepare full walk-through reports to verify unit rental status, delinquency status, and maintenance status.
• Perform routine inspections and repairs on HVAC systems.
• Diagnose and complete minor plumbing and electrical issues.
• Maintain facility grounds and security components.
• Respond to tenant inquiries and document interactions timely.
