Job summary

KO Storage is seeking a hands-on Facility Maintenance Manager to support multiple KO Storage locations in the Cheyenne area, working with the District Manager to troubleshoot and maintain facilities. Schedule: 20–25 hours per week, with some weekends or holidays possible.

You will conduct facility visits, perform inspections, address HVAC, plumbing and electrical issues, manage landscape and snow maintenance, maintain security systems, and document tenant interactions.

Qualifications

• Field service and maintenance experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service equipment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively.
• Access to reliable internet and comfort with cloud syncing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct facility visits to identify improvements and address maintenance, safety, and security concerns.
• Perform full walk-through reports to verify unit rental, delinquency, and maintenance status.
• Inspect and repair HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical issues as needed.
• Install, upgrade, or replace electrical components and fixtures.
• Manage landscape and snow maintenance to keep facilities presentable and safe.
• Maintain facility security components including doors, locks, gates, and cameras.
• Document interactions and site findings, uploading photos/videos to systems.
• Communicate with tenants promptly and professionally about issues.
