Job summary

Ascension Recovery Services in West Virginia is seeking an Employment Coordinator – Workforce Development to build employer partnerships and connect individuals in our Return-to-Work (RTW) Program with meaningful employment and training opportunities. The role is highly relationship-driven, focusing on networking, community partnerships, and solving barriers to employment.

You will travel up to 50% across West Virginia, working with employers, workforce groups, and training providers to turn

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree in workforce development, business, human services, or related field.
• Equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• Experience in employer relations, recruiting, or workforce development preferred.
• Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Identify and build relationships with employers interested in partnering with the RTW Program and hiring participants.
• Develop partnerships with workforce development organizations, vocational training providers, and community organizations.
• Conduct employer outreach, meetings, and site visits to understand workforce needs and identify opportunities.
• Maintain a strong network of employer partners, job openings, and training opportunities.
• Identify opportunities that align with participants' skills, experience, and interests.
• Coordinate job matching and employer referrals with RTW Liaisons and participants.
• Help participants with résumés, applications, interviews, and onboarding.
