Job summary

Takeda seeks a field-based Medical Science Liaison to analyze, interpret and share scientific data with healthcare professionals across the US. The role focuses on building relationships with KOLs/HCPs, supporting research, and translating insights into medical strategy while ensuring compliance.

You will work with the US Medical team reporting to the Director, MSL, and travel up to 70% as required, including some overnight stays.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in life/health sciences preferred (PharmD, MD, PhD, or equivalent) or Master’s degree if specified.
• ~2+ years of MSL experience in healthcare or related field.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain professional relationships with KOLs/HCPs per territory plans aligned to medical strategy.
• Analyze and interpret complex scientific information and disseminate to KOLs/HCPs in a compliant, fair-balanced manner.
• Support Takeda-sponsored research and assist with medical collaboration studies and investigator-initiated research processes.
• Display advanced knowledge of therapeutic area intelligence and communicate insights to inform medical strategies.
• Identify and cultivate partnerships between KOLs/HCPs and Takeda US Medical.
• Participate in executing medical strategy at medical conferences and share insights from attendance.
• Respond to unsolicited HCP medical information inquiries with timeliness and compliance.
• Complete required CRM entries, insights capture, training, and expense reporting.
